http://studsandbugs.com/tag/nj-home-inspection/ There are a few reasons why I like to teach, but the most compelling one has to be when a child’s eyes light up.
I have been volunteering at my children’s school for the last few months. I am assisting one of the most efficient and effective teachers I have had the pleasure to know.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to work closely with one of the class’s students, that is a little behind in his reading skills. I was also given the opportunity to use my latest resource on word families with this student.
I was pleased and touched with the teacher’s feedback on the resource set, but what really got to me was the reaction of the student. This child was having so much fun! And the eyes… 🙂
I enjoy teaching. I always have! But I still feel overwhelmed by the positive reactions of students. It makes me happy to see their smiles reach their eyes. It makes me happy to hear their little giggles of satisfaction for work well done! It makes me feel thankful for the opportunity to work as a teacher (or volunteer 🙂 ).
Thank you for allowing me to share with you!
