December Pick 3 – Pinterest Finds

Today I am linking up with Lisa at Pawsitively Teaching for her PICK 3 monthly linky.

Pick 3 Main Graphic

I’m supposed to share with you 3 of my favourite Pinterest finds that could be used in the classroom. So, here it goes:

Pin 1

Making snowmen is something that most children love to do. My children absolutely adore it and often come home talking about the snowmen they built at school (and also about how someone else destroyed them) 🙂

This month I found several beautiful snowman crafts that would be easy to make with young children at school. Here is my favourite:

Seems simple enough to make. I have a box of small mason jars that would be perfect for this. And the empty jars from jam or jelly would be good too. I might even make a whole set myself to use for the dinner table on Christmas Eve 🙂

Pin 2My second pick for this month, is this beautiful snowman themed Advent calendar. I think we could easily modify it by using paper plates and construction paper. What do you think?

Finally, I completely fell in love with this idea. A few old socks, buttons, string and a bit of glue, and the children can take home a beautiful gift for their family. Personally, I would love to have a whole family of snowmen on the fireplace mantel… (if only I had a fireplace, lol).

And this is it! I hope you liked my top Pinterest picks for this month. Go on and check the linky to find out what other bloggers have chosen as their top Pinterest picks for this month.

Take care,

The snowman jar is such an ADORABLE idea! Not only is that something that I would try with my students since they are older, but I’d like to make them to use as classroom decorations, and even as part of a gift for friends.
    thanks for sharing!

Hi Melissa, thank you for your comment.
Yes, I am anxious to be able to get some free time and get started on making some of those 🙂

I agree! I already went around the laundry room to try and find some lonely socks so that I could try and make some, lol!
